These are a great introduction to rhyming words. When the music stops, call out a word, and the children have to freeze and think of a rhyming word before they can start dancing again. We use this pocket chart for matching games at circle time, and the children use it during center time. This is just another way to use and display rhyming cards. Usually, after I’ve drawn a few, some of the children will volunteer to draw one for the next day. They continue this until they sort all the words. They will then find matching marshmallow cards with the same rhyming word. Draw on a dry erase lap board before the children arrive, so that they don’t have to wait while you draw. I'm probably going to print out my admission letter to the program I'll choose to attend and say something like, "It has been an absolute honor to begin my career in education at this school. I am also going to give them my contact information so they can keep in touch and let me know if they need any encouragement. I teach at the same low-income and underperforming high school I attended, though, so I am hoping my matriculation to a really good PhD program will inspire my kids to reach for their goals, as well. Like most of us, I adore my kids and would do anything for them, but I'm itching to do research and have a broader impact. This helped somewhat in my last school with the guilt aspect and I also requested an exit interview with the head teacher so that I could ensure I passed on what I believed were the good/bad practices in place and concerns I thought he may be in a position to remedy (or at least should be aware of) that way I left knowing I had done everything I could for the kids. Hand signals are used to indicate the direction of the ball, the rotation of the server, and various other types of calls. In volleyball, hand signals are an important part of the game, both for players and referees. Because hand signals are an important part of the game in volleyball, all players and referees must be aware of them. This signal is repeated by the second referee when the results of the rally are declared. In order to signal the first referee’s hand, they extend their arm straight out from the shoulder, parallel to the ground with their hand open and palm facing forward. As a result, advanced beach players typically only signal with one hand when they intend to block a team opponent’s hitter. Left hand signals are used by the opposing left side player, whereas right hand signals are used by the opposing right side player.
